wedding | julie + brenton

Julie and Brenton’s wedding had, to say the least, a lot of steez (aka style). But that is no surprise, considering Julie is a fashion stylist and Brenton is one of LA’s finest celebrity hair stylists. Their color palette of yellow and teal fit their personalities perfectly. Noor, set in Los Angeles, was the place where they said they vows under an amazing full moon and where the party went down. There was so much good energy and vibrations all around. Not to mention lots of surprise dance numbers and some!

Lake Chabot is a recent place I discovered through a client session and so glad I know about it now. We got to go out on a patio boat that day and here are just a few fun water fowl shots that I got while there. They got pretty close to the boat and were flying about a foot away from me at some points.

Doesn’t that Chicago dog combo from Fletch’s look delicious?
Recently, we had the opportunity to work with several small businesses in San Mateo and some of you may recognize some places. As many know, we’ve been in our necks with a busy wedding season, so it was definitely nice to switch gears and do some fun commissioned commercial work. Lots of the small businesses were restaurants and it was hard to keep our appetites at bay. Check out some of our favorites shots from the project!
Handsome looking Dungeness crab from Red Crawfish
Cajun Seafood special, also from Red Crawfish. Yum!
Tea time at Hop On Sushi! The head chef is such a kind soul, if anything come by and visit.
The monster Rave Burger from Rave Burger.
Clam chowder from Attic

It was sooooo good to see these boys again! Oz is already going to be charmer and Zander is just too adorable! It was only 6 months since we last saw the boys and now Zander is turning one!

Big brother Oz walking baby Zander around the field of flowers was to melt for. They were both all giggles!

Anddd….. That’s a wrap. Zander finally ran out of fuel after a day of eating flowers, running up hillsides, and cupcake smashing
engagement | jee + derek

Most couples always start off a session with “I’m going to be terrible” or “I never look good in photos” but when we show them previews of their photos, they just smile. And that is the best feeling. Our session with Jee and Derek was one of those sessions. But, they are more photogenic than they thought
That’s the thing… Everyone is photogenic. And that is something every couple should embrace. Just have fun with it and the beauty will unravel before your eyes. We took Jee and Derek to some places they had never been to even though they are San Francisco natives and we all had a blast! Check out some previews of the beautiful Jee and her soon-to-be hubby!
engagement | Christine + John

Arriving at Lake Chabot was like finding a hidden gem in the valley. The sun was out and the water was just glistening in the sun. Even Christine and John stood there with me for a little while to take in the scenery. With Christine’s calm beauty and John’s charm, it is obvious that the two are so very sweet for each other. Check out some teasers from their engagement session and you’ll see what we mean ![]()
